Acute Rheumatic Fever Cases Presented with Enthesitis: A Different View on Acute Rheumatic Fever

Background: Acute rheumatic fever (ARF) is a non-suppurative inflammatory disease that develops after group A Beta hemolytic streptococcal pharyngitis, primarily involving the heart, joint, central nervous system, skin and subcutaneous tissue. Today, Jones criteria; were modified in 2015, are used for diagnosis. Our aim this study to examine patients diagnosed with acute our clinic presented enthesitis.
 Methods: The type of case report. Five who admitted Pediatric Rheumatology Clinic Selcuk University Faculty Medicine enthesitis, between 2017- 2019 examined retrospectively. Their demographic, clinical laboratory echocardiographic data examined. presence enthesitis all was established one or more options examination, ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, and/or orthopedics opinion. 
 Results: While improved treatment phase reactants did not fall additional findings appeared. observations suggested could apply us only arthritis arthralgia, but also clinic. Therefore, we think if compatible among differential diagnoses presenting should be considered, careful physical examination echocardiography performed purpose.
 Conclusion: In relation pathogenesis rheumatological diseases, new situations emerging day by day, way, diseases better understood classified. conclusion, ARF can encountered arthralgia clinics, imaging ignored have high do meet enthesitis-related juvenile idiopathic criteria.
